This is the famous Hollow’s Way, where the bottom of the ancient riverbed was located. Knowlton’s Rangers ran across here, then they went up another embankment on the other side of the British to put the second above them. This is when the British play the bugle. Situated north of this location, Washington is unaware of what's going on with this engagement. Next location is West 127th Street along Saint Nicholas Park.
