The Calumet & Hecla company provided services to the public such as police and fire protection which communities do today. This fire station served mines and company neighborhoods to the south. Originally there was a second Calumet fire station north of Red Jacket Road. The building is now home to the Calumet Township Fire Department. Please do not park in the fire lane.
