Haskell Gate is where visitors can access points of interest or hike-in campsites in the northern section of the monument. All trails past Haskell Gate are for hiking or biking only. Just south of the gate on New River Road is a designated parking area for vehicles. Please do not park in front of the gate or block the gate.

Note: During the winter, New River Road is closed at the North Gate. Vehicles must park at the North Gate parking area. Visitors can access Haskell Gate by foot. Ski trails are often groomed to Haskell Gate from January through March.
