This home was occupied by Mrs. Harriet Dean, a teacher for girls and a neighbor to Abraham Lincoln from approximately 1849 to early 1860. Today the first floor of the historical house displays exhibits focusing on the Lincoln family and the evolution of the Lincoln Home for the public to enjoy.
