Happy Creek Forest Walk is a 0.3 mile (0.5 km) loop through a stand of old-growth forest located along State Route 20. The entire loop is accessible; most of the trail is on a boardwalk that winds through a forest of primordial trees that tower over hikers.

The creek bubbles alongside the southern half of the loop on its way to Ross Lake and the Skagit River. Visitors interested in a longer walk at this location can follow a 2 mile roundtrip (3.21 km) spur trail to Happy Creek Falls further up the mountainside.
