This is a great stop to stretch your legs and take a closer look at some of Big Cypress National Preserve's wildlife. A short boardwalk gives you a unique perspective of a human made drainage canal which is now inhabited by a wide range of wildlife. Fish, birds, turtles, snakes, and alligators frequent these waters. Take a closer look in the water and at the trees to discover who may be in the perfect spot for a great picture.

This area also has several shaded picnic tables and restrooms.

Right off of Highway 41, this is a great stop to see and learn about the wildlife of the swamp.
