The Hitching Posts

Just below the summit the trail passes by a short spur leading to several hitching posts for adventurous horseback riders who ride up the peak. This is as far as horses and other stock animals are allowed. The trail is very rocky and exposed beyond this point, but this is the last few hundred feet of the trail.
