Gulf Coast Canoe/Kayak Launch

The Gulf Coast Canoe/Kayak Launch provides access to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Wilderness, the Ten Thousand Islands, and the Wilderness Waterway for non-motorized watercraft. The adjacent Marjory Stoneman Douglas Visitor Center is open from 9am to 5pm daily. Park Rangers can be found onsite or by calling (786) 758-0635.
A wilderness permit is required for all overnight stays in Everglades National Park. Wilderness permits are available through recreation.gov. A park entrance pass is required if entering the waters of Everglades National Park. Passes are sold at the Shark Valley and Homestead park entrance stations and online through recreation.gov.
