Grant's Farm is a 280-acre wildlife park owned and operated by Anheuser-Busch InBev. The site is adjacent to Ulysses S. Grant NHS today. The acreage was part of the White Haven estate in the 19th century when Ulysses S. Grant lived at and owned the property. A later owner of White Haven, Luther Conn, sold this portion of the property to the Busch family (of Anheuser-Busch Brewing Company fame) in 1903. In 1954 the property was opened to the public and named "Grant's Farm" in honor of General Grant. Open seasonally from May through October, Grant's Farm offer tram tours through the animal park and animal shows. Although closed to public tours, Ulysses S. Grant's Hardscrabble log cabin is also located on the property.
