The Grand View Terrace is the main viewing area of Mount Rushmore National Memorial and the first offering a closer and unobstructed view, making it a popular spot for photos. The Grand View Terrace is a hub of activity in the summer season - make sure to listen for ranger program announcements. From the terrace you can visit the Lincoln Borglum Visitor Center located directly below, access the Presidential Trail, or walk the stairs to the Sculptor’s Studio.
