Here you are standing at the mouth of Golden Canyon which is approximatley 40 ft (12m) wide, with 30 ft (9m) tan rock walls rising nearly vertically on either side. The canyon floor is a gravel wash and many rocks of varying sizes and colors cover the uneven ground.
