Significance:
River Feature
Designation:
Class II Rapid

Scenic View/Photo Spot

The first class II rapids that floaters float across, the Fritzes Island Rapids are a little more challenging than a class I rapid, but floaters shouldn't be scared to take them on.

Class II rapids are navigable by canoe and kayak, tubers can also handle them.

The Fritzes Island Rapids are an important landmark and river feature for floaters to be aware of because of what comes after them. The Fritzes Island Rapids are followed by the Fritzes Narrows, a class one rapid that floaters may or may not notice if the river is high enough.
