The Feldtmann Fire Tower offers a unique west end view of Isle Royale National Park. It is located on the Feldtmann Ridge between Feldtmann Lake Campground and Siskiwit Campground. Formerly a fire tower, visitors can climb partly up the tower and experience a 360 degree view of Isle Royale's west end. Siskiwit Bay, Houghton Ridge, Siskiwit Ridge, and the Red Oak Ridge can all be viewed from the tower. This is an excellent spot for a lunch break while backpacking or a day excursion from nearby campgrounds.
