Fairweather Park is a grassy area located between the Friday Harbor Marina and the Spring Street Landing Aquarium. With its excellent views of the waterfront, it is an ideal space to relax while visiting the town of Friday Harbor. It offers visitors benches, picnic tables, and a small artificial waterfall. Free live music is often performed here in the summer time. It also features public art, such as the "Interaction" sculpture, made by Native American artist Susan Point which is based on the cedar posts that support Coast Salish longhouses and that pays tribute to the enduring and eternal Coast Salish presence in the San Juan Islands.
