Explore Echo Bay
Located on the northwestern part of Lake Mead. Access from the north from Overton, or from the south from the Las Vegas Valley. The Echo Bay turnoff is 10 miles south of the Northshore entrance station and 40 miles south of the Lake Mead Parkway entrance. The campground is about 5 miles from the turnoff to Echo Bay.
Due to low water the Echo Bay Boat Launch Ramp is closed. The nearest boat launch access point is roughly 30 miles south at the Callville Bay launch ramp.
Also, please be aware of muddy shorelines with receding waters, as cars and people have gotten stuck. Test all ground before fully committing. Top layers can look dry and be deceiving.
Up the road from Echo Bay, take Northshore Road Scenic Drive and enjoy geologic, red rock formations and beautiful picnic areas.
