Significance:
This is one of over 600 volcanic eruptions within the San Francisco Volcanic Field. It is approximately 100,000 years old.

Doney Mountain Hiking Trail

This 1.6-mile (2.6km) hike up the Doney Mountain Trail starts at the Doney Mountain Picnic Area. Enjoy a snack at the top where there is a bench to take in the views.
