David Jones park, located across the street from the San Juan County Courthouse, is a green pocket park.This park was named after a former nuclear engineer and businessman who retired to Friday Harbor, where he became an active member of our community. David was a volunteer fireman and served as a city counselor and mayor of Friday Harbor. This park which honors his memory holds heirloom fruit trees perfect for foraging, picnic tables, and an excellent green space perfect for reading or sunbathing.
