Overview

Daisy Town is a historic district of the Elkmont area home to the Appalachian Clubhouse and a number of preserved vacation homes built between 1910 and 1935 on the former site of a logging camp near Jakes Creek. Wealthier families mainly from Knoxville, Tennessee, established Daisy Town in the early 1900s as an exclusive weekend and summer retreat prior to the creation of the national park.

Today, visitors can explore these cabins inside and out and reserve the 3,000-square-foot Appalachian Clubhouse for events through recreation.gov. Learn more about more than a hundred years of stories, memories, and dreams on the Daisy Town guided tour in the NPS App.
