Audio Description
This Greek Revival style house was built in 1857 by one of the founders of Corinth, surveyor Hamilton Mask. By the start of the war the home had been sold to businessman William Simonton who left Corinth when the conflict began. No less than five generals used the home as headquarters while scores of others visited either socially or professionally.
