Historic site
The Moss House was a hotel in Corinth before the outbreak of the Civil War that was operated by Wiley Blount Pannell. After the battles of Shiloh and Corinth it, like most buildings in town, was used as a hospital to treat wounded soldiers.

When the building was not being used as a hospital, it was the headquarters for Corinth's provost marshal.
