Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Constitution Hall, Washington DC’s largest concert hall, welcomes over half a million patrons each year. The Hall opened in 1929, and was designed by architect John Russell Pope to house the annual DAR convention. Pope also designed the Thomas Jefferson Memorial (1943). DAR Constitution Hall was designated a National Historic Landmark Building in 1985.
