Scenic View/Photo Spot

Conner Rapids are a class I river rapid and should not intimidate beginner floaters or paddlers. Class I rapids are great for gaining experience in a vessel on how to let the river float your boat and be comfortable with whatever it throws at you.

Conner Rapids are located down-river from Brewer Bridge landing quite a distance. The closest noticeable landmark to them is the Penbrook campground. They are located just after the campground and are a good signal to beginner floaters that the Class II Fritzes Island Rapids are coming soon too.

Note: Niobrara National Scenic River does not endorse nor preference any private businesses along the river corridor. Any names of private landings or locations are named for the convenience of the floater as landmark references for location orientation.
