The Conata Picnic Ground is one of the more remote rest stops on Badlands Loop Road, located just a ways down Conata Road. Vault toilets and picnic benches are available. This area is also fairly easy to explore on foot. The west side of the parking lot hosts the Deer Haven trailhead.
