Sitting just across the street from Abraham Lincoln's residence, the Arnold House was once home to Charles Arnold, neighbor and a Whig political ally of Abraham Lincoln. The building was originally built and owned by Reverend Francis Springer, who sold the Lincoln Home to Abraham Lincoln. Today, the Arnold House holds exhibits focusing on the Lincoln neighborhood and historic preservation.
