Historical/Interpretive Information/Exhibits

The northwest quadrant of the Bunker Hill grounds. During the final phase of the Battle of Bunker Hill, this is the side where New England militia retreated via an opening in the redoubt. It was during this phase of the battle, as the colonists retreated from the attacking British Regulars, that Joseph Warren was killed in the fighting.
