Scenic View/Photo Spot

Sitting at 3,200 feet above sea level, this overlook offers a picturesque view of Bullhead Mountain, Devils Garden, and the Green Mountains. Early settlers apparently thought that the crest of Bullhead Mountain resembles a bull, hence its name. Can you see a bull?

Stop here in the early morning for a dynamic photo. Often in the morning, fog will hang in the valleys, creating a great backdrop for the mountains. The overlook offers birdwatching opportunities and a chance to get a close look at a unique stone wall. Stone walls are iconic on the parkway, and are visible along most of the road's 469-mile length.
