Brown's Farm Trail Stop 12: The Spring

Quick Facts
All streams start somewhere. Springheads like this one along the Brown's Farm Trail are common all across the mountian. Groundwater rises above, breaking the surface, entering into headwaters of the larger watershed. This springs are an excelent habitat for many freshwater invertebrates and amphibians.
