Quick Facts
Wetlands, found along the Brown's Farm Trail and across the park, are fed by groundwater. A wetland is defined by the following characteristics: the water table saturates the soil for at least 10-14 days during the growing season, the substrate is comprised primarily of hydric soils, and the presence of hydrophytic plants.
