From the Boquillas Overlook you can see the village of Boquillas, Mexico just across the Rio Grande. This is also a great place to photograph the Sierra del Carmens and Boquillas Canyon. The exhibit panel graphically shows how the Rio Grande carved this major canyon. Along with Mariscal and Santa Elena canyons, these three canyons are one of the major reasons for the creation of Big Bend National Park.
