A wildlife-viewing platform (Bodie Island Marsh Blind) is available for all visitors to use. The Bodie Island Marsh Blind will remain open through the middle of November (with a few exceptions in October). From December through March, the wildlife-viewing platform serves as an accessible hunt blind for hunters with limited mobility.
The blind provides a great opportunity to experience the calm marshes of the Outer Banks and observe the unique plants and animals that call the ecosystem home.
