This tiny 3-acre State Park, located just off the coast of Shaw Island, is a popular destination with kayakers eager to find a tiny slice of paradise in the waters of the Salish Sea. Blind Island has 4 buoys for watercraft to dock on and four campsites on the island for visitors who arrive via kayak or sailboat.
On this small island, visitors can see remnants of the orchard that was planted by the family who homesteaded here prior to its establishment as a state park in 1970.There is no potable water on the island, so come prepared with enough liquids to sustain you on your trip. A composting toilet is on island, however, but no trash facilities exist so please pack out what you pack in and leave no trace!
