This overlook along NM State Route 4 is very open, with amazing views into Valle Grande. We are near the transition zone between dry mixed conifer forest and the upper montane grasslands, which often means we'll have a great variety of bird species nearby. Watch for these birds each season:

• Winter: American crow
• Spring: Say's Phoebe
• Summer: Western wood pewee
• Fall: White breasted nuthatch

Este mirador situado junto a la carretera estatal NM 4 es muy abierto y ofrece unas vistas impresionantes del Valle Grande. Nos encontramos cerca de la zona de transición entre el bosque mixto seco de coníferas y los pastizales de montaña, lo que a menudo significa que tendremos una gran variedad de especies de aves cerca. Esté atento a estas aves en cada estación:

• Primavera: Mosquero Llanero

• Verano: Pibí Occidental

• Otoño: Trepador Pechiblanco
