Hidden in a median between parkway and the southern part of the northern most parking area is a plaque on large upright stone that was moved from the intersection median to its current location. This marked eight honey locusts that were planted by the Mount Vernon Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1932.
