Scenic View/Photo Spot
As Far As One Can See is an outdoor wayside exhibit panel that overlooks the Eastern Lookout at Tekαkαpimək Contact Station. From the Eastern Lookout, you can see the homelands of Maliseet, Mi'kmaq, Passamaquoddy and Penobscot, collectively known as Wabanaki, or People of the Dawn.
You can walk down the stone steps to your left to reach the Gathering Circle, or use the accessible path to your right. To reach the beginning of the accessible path, walk a short distance down the Contact Station Road. The Gathering Circle has four benches arranged around Wabanaki double curve motifs carved into the stones that pave the Gathering Circle.
