The hilltop home of Thomas Worthington, Ohio’s sixth governor, is a National Historic Landmark. Construction was completed in 1807. Visitors can explore the gardens, grounds and outbuildings and tour the education and visitor center to learn more about the site.
Elaborate gardens around the home include a fruit tree orchard, grape vines and plots for vegetables. The gardens have undergone major renovations and give visitors a view into early-19th-century life. Suggested time on site is 2 hours or more.
