How does a creature survive as its' environment changes? Hopefully the change is slow allowing time for the animal to adapt to its' new conditions. This is what happened for most of the creatures in the park. They adapted to their new environment in multiple ways. By changing color or even changing their diet. These adaptions allowed them to survive in an ever changing world.
