Bear Brook Picnic Area is one of the first stops on Park Loop Road. It has many picnic tables and small fire pits with grates for grilling. Many sites are right off the paved parking lot area or have parking spots very close by.
To the right when visitors pull in, they will see a small parking lot with one accessible parking spot. Most of the picnic sites on the right are walk- up. If visitors go left, they will find a small dumpster on the right, a building with accessible, flushing-toilet restrooms, and more picnic sites with parking directly near them.
