Only two infantry regiments from the famed Texas Brigade reached the southwestern slope of Little Round Top. This trail follows in the footsteps of one of those units, the 4th Texas Infantry. Multiple attacks by the Texans proved unsuccessful and they were unable to capture this portion of the hill.
