Yosemite Valley Lodge features 245 rooms, including wheelchair-accessible, family, bunk, and traditional rooms. The lodge offers multiple dining options and a gift shop. Located near the base of Yosemite Falls, Yosemite Valley Lodge began welcoming guests in an old Army barracks building in 1915. Most of the lodge buildings were rebuilt in the 1950s and 60s as part of Mission 66, a nationwide effort to revitalize the national parks.

Operating Hours & Seasons

Yosemite Valley Lodge is open year-round. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day.

Dining & Shopping

All shopping and dining is located around a central courtyard directly behind the lodge registration desk.

Base Camp Eatery. Fast casual, food court-style dining offering a variety of cuisines. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Starbucks Coffee. Located adjacent to Base Camp Eatery, offering a variety of espresso, coffee, tea, and other beverages as well as pastries, gifts, and grab-and-go items. No seating available, visitors may use Base Camp Eatery seating.

Mountain Room Restaurant. Upscale casual steakhouse serving dinner. Indoor seating. Reservations recommended via OpenTable.com.

Mountain Room Lounge. Cocktail lounge. beer on tap, and light dining. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Gift Shop. Selection of convenience items and gifts.

Accessibility

All lodging facilities in the park meet accessibility requirements. Select rooms are wheelchair accessible. Designated accessible parking spaces are located in front of the registration office and near pathways leading to lodge rooms.
