Watch an orientation film about Yosemite at the Yosemite Exploration Center Theater before getting your Yosemite plans underway.
The park film, The Spirit of Yosemite, is shown daily on the hour and the half hour in the theater behind the Yosemite Exploration Center. The first showing is at 9:30am, and the last showing is at 4pm, except on Sundays, when the first showing is at noon. Audio description and foreign language headsets are available at the visitor center information desk.

Getting Here
Located in Yosemite Village at shuttle stop 5. The theater is behind the exploration center. Either walk through the visitor center, or use the sidewalk to the left of the visitor center, to access the theater.
Accessibility
- There is an accessible path to the Theater through the exploration center, or via a sidewalk to the left of the visitor center.
- The Spirit of Yosemite is both captioned and audio described. Ask at the information desk for an assistive listening device.
- Accessible restrooms are located in the building to the west of the visitor center.
- A few designated accessible parking spaces are available just west of the visitor center.
