This bus stop is served by the Highway 41 route, connecting Fresno, Oakhurst, Wawona, and Yosemite Valley. This route operates May-September, seven days a week. See website for schedules and route details.
The Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System (YARTS) is a regularly scheduled, fixed route, public transit system in the Yosemite region. YARTS provides service into Yosemite National Park and gateway communities in comfortable, air-conditioned buses.
Walk-on service is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-on passengers can purchase tickets on the bus with cash (exact change only) or card. Advance reservations can be purchased online. Passengers entering the park on a YARTS bus do not need to pay the park entrance fee; it is included in the bus fare.
Bus Tips & Accessibility
- Bags are allowed on YARTS buses, including backpacks of any size. Some backpacks may need to be stored in compartments under the passenger seating.
- Bikes are allowed in the storage compartments under the bus, as space allows. Bicycle rentals may be available seasonally in Yosemite Valley.
- YARTS does not pick up anywhere other than designated stops.
- No pets are allowed to ride except for service animals.
All YARTS buses are wheelchair accessible. However, this is on a per-ride basis and is dependent upon seating locations on the bus. Passengers needing assistance while boarding may request this in advance. Passengers with disabilities as well as their companions or attendants who provide care may purchase tickets at a discounted rate.
