Walter Pierce Park is a small park partially managed by the District of Columbia Parks and Recreation group and partially by the National Park Service. The National Park Service administers the hill leading down to the creek and the Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway and the section between the city managed portion and the Smithsonian Zoological Park. The acreage is not accessible and is listed as a cemetery.
