Near the north end of the airstrip, this area was previously used for military barracks during the Johnson presidency. Today, the scenic spot is used as a RV campground for the Volunteers-In-Park. For their service working with interpretation, ranching, maintenance or curatorial, our talented volunteers are given a space to use during their time at the park.
