Audio Description, Cellular Signal

This simple house located directly behind the first headquarters of the United Farm Workers housed Cesar Chavez's office and the union's Legal Department. From here boycotts were coordinated across the U.S. and Canada until 1969, when union operations moved to the Forty Acres. The Pink House was later home to the Huelga School, established by the movement to teach the children of grape strikers and union staff.

This building is a private residence. Please respect the privacy of the family who lives here. Do not enter the fenced area.
