Stark Bayou Overlook
Benches/Seating, Braille, Historical/Interpretive Information/Exhibits, Scenic View/Photo Spot, Tactile Exhibit
The Stark Bayou overlooks an open marsh full of vegetation and winding waterways, all bordered by a woodland area. A boardwalk stretching across the bayou makes this is a great place to view wildlife or take photographs. Often this waterway is one of the best places to see wildlife like birds, turtles, crabs, and alligators.
Parking is available at the beginning of the waterway in front of the Nature’s Way Loop Trail entrance, or just past the waterway across at the corner of Robert MeGhee Road and Boat Launch. Please do not stop your vehicle in the road for a photo, as this can be dangerous to other cars, people, and wildlife.
