There is no more genuine way to experience Shenandoah National Park than on horseback. Guided horseback and pony rides are available at Skyland Stables throughout the day, weather and season permitting. Horseback rides depart from the stables, cross over Skyline Drive, and travel past the Limberlost area through an old apple orchard.

Horseback rides are managed by Delaware North, the Park's concessioner, and are typically offered May through October, but may extend if weather permits. Visit their website for more information, rates, and operating hours.
