The Hyde Street Pier is closed for renovations as part of the Hyde Street Rebuild ProjectThe ships in our park's collection have been moved temporarily to the Mare Island Naval Shipyard. Visitors are not currently allowed on the ships, but can view them from the shore at Mare Island.

When the Hyde Street Pier rebuild is finished, the ships will be moved back to Hyde Street Pier and the pier will reopen. An estimated end date is not available at this time.

Hyde Street Pier features an outdoor exhibit on maritime history as well as several historical ships docked in the harbor including the square-rigger Balclutha, the lumber schooner C.A. Thayer, the Eureka ferryboat, the steam tug, Hercules and the scow schooner, Alma.
