Location Description: Picnic Grove 16 is a small area located along Ridge Road NW. The cleared area is on a slight hill. In the top left corner is a small stone fire pit.
Restrooms: No. The closest public restrooms are located within the Rock Creek Park Nature Center and Planetarium. They are only open during operating hours of the Nature Center.
Parking: Yes- The picnic area is accessed by a small pull out that can fit two or three vehicles. Parking is only permitted in the pull out. No parking is allowed on the shoulders of the road or in the grass.
Reservations and Permits: This is a first-come, first-served picnic area and is limited to no more than 25 people.
