Riverfront Park is adjacent to the north end of Fort Smith National Historic Site, along the Arkansas River.

The amphitheater hosts concerts and other events. North of the amphitheater is a skate and bike park and access to the Greg Smith River Trail, a five-mile multi-use paved trail.
