The reflecting pool on the lower plaza of Meridian Hill Park reopened to visitors on May 14, 2026. It may be drained or closed temporarily for short periods of time as NPS continues with improvements to the park.

As a reminder:
All park bodies of water, fountains, and memorial pools are closed to swimming, wading and bathing by people or household pets.
